Directions:
Rub inside of fondue pot with cut clove of garlic. Pour in wine and lemon juice and heat gently til bubbling. Reduce heat to low and gradually stir in cheeses. Continue to heat until cheeses melt, stirring frequently - be patient!
In small bowl blend cornstarch, Kirsch, lavender and nutmeg. Add to cheese. Cook for 2-3 minutes til mixture is thick and smooth. It is now ready to eat! While serving keep the flame very low.
Serve with French bread cut into 1-2 inch cubes and if you like, add wedges of apple, pears, cubes of ham, pitted olives or boiled potatoes.
